How do I lose a ton of weight in 6 weeks?

Me asked:


I want to lose 30 lbs. in 6 weeks. Is it possible? How?

I’ve been inactive (change of job to sitting behind desk all day). I used to work out religiously (alternating weight training and cardio 6 days a week). I’ve gained a good 30 lbs. and want it off in 6 weeks.

I don’t eat a lot. I actually could eat a lot more! I drink A LOT of Diet Mountain Dew (no calories but 35 mg sodium per 8 oz and I drink a good 2 liter a day!)

I’ve been going on 2 mile walks each day and hope to work back up to my former physical abilities. It’s amazing how out of shape I’ve become from being inactive for a year.

Is there a weight loss pill that would speed up the process? I’m training to race against a former high school friend after not seeing him for 20 years! After high school, he joined the Navy and became a Navy SEAL. I want to be sure I’m ready because we have a bet going. (If I lose, I have to get my hair cut short, which I’ve never looked good in). The race is in 6 weeks! Help! :-)

    Cut out all soda.
    Watch your calories
    go to slimfast.com, you can log what you eat and keep track of calories really easily! They will also recommend how many calories you should be eating.

    well, I don’t really eat meat, but my sister lost a lot of weight on the atkins diet. especieally if you follow it completely (she lost abut 5 -7 lbs in the first two weeks and she wasnt really overwieght). so if you are over weight and follow the diet to the T, you could probably lose at least half of the weight in the first two weeks alone. good luck!

    ok lets ansewer whats right in wrong in this, [by paragraphs]
    1st paragraph- you can not lose 30 lbs in 6 weeks becuase you will gain it back after you stop working again it happens to everybody becuase they won’t to lose 5- 10 lbs a week and they gain it all back. so you wont to lose 2-3 lbs a week so you don’t gain it back. it’s going to be tough but you have to do that
    2nd paragraph- you should eat alot, and i am not meaning calorie packed muffin you can get at 7- eleven. i mean an egg, or some thing that has lots of calories in it to burn fat.you should eat every 2 hours with 3 main meals, you should eat fruit,veggies, meats[grilled chicken,fish] 2nd of all you need to go on a water diet. you can not drink moutain due any more you have to say bye bye. only thing you can drink is water, no soda, nothing.
    in stead of to miles walks each day you should chang it up, you should go on a run 3 days a week for 15-30 minetes, you should do house work out 2 times a week,and go on you on your walks 1-2 times a week but you have to walk fast[ power walk] burns more calories.
    4th paragraph- well no there is not any weight lose pills all they do is make you lose weight fast which you gain back with health problems and thats not a good thing. wel if you ask the hair cutter what short hair styal would look good on you, and have her do it so it wont look really bad. well hope this helps
