How often do you see grotesquely obese elderly people?

A Baby Ate My Dingo asked:

Hardly ever, of course.

Yet all these “Fat Rights” activists will have you believe there is nothing wrong with being obese.

Fat people certainly have the right to be fat, and I suppose we should accommodate their butts on the subway and airlines, but when they try to make us believe that obesity is just another healthy lifestyle choice, they are deluding themselves.

    Need to lose weight?

Rarely if ever do I see an old person who is morbidly obese. You’re right – most of them die off in their 40’s from heart disease.

Funny thing is that they cost the average tax payer / insurance policy holder less than somebody who lives long enough to die of natural causes. Same with smokers.
