What is a normal calorie intake for a 4-year- old boy?

Mehndi M asked:

What is a normal calorie intake for a 4-year- old boy?
Could anyone suggest a good calorie counting resource, website?
Also, could anyone suggest good healthy meal ideas for a 4-year -old.
I am almost out of ideas, my son is a very picky eater and eats only what he like and is used to. I need some new ideas.
Does anyone have a picky eater child and what do you do to make them eat? Thank you!!!

    Fastest Way to Lose Weight

my son is four and would not eat almost anything, especially veggies.I wanted to offer him anything he would eat for nutrition, but I also am not a buffet waitress either.eventually he started eating more and more of things I offered him,mac and cheese, chicken nugget, pancakes, things I knew he would eat and were healthy for him.also I try to make eating time fun, have him help you prepare the food, let him pick an idea of his own,but give him 3 choices to choose from that are healthy and fun, have a picnic in your living room once a week.gl
